Why export invoices go unpaid

Selling abroad on open-account terms means the goods are gone before the money arrives. When a buyer stops paying, you are collecting in a country you don't know.

The goods are delivered

Once a shipment has arrived, you cannot take it back. The invoice is all you have.

Different law in every market

Payment orders, courts and limitation periods differ by country, and so does what works.

A buyer who won't answer

Reminders in your language are easy to ignore. A local expert calls and writes in the buyer's language.

Online orders from abroad

Webshops sell to consumers and businesses everywhere, and small unpaid orders add up.

How Debitura helps

A licensed expert in your buyer's country

We match each claim to a vetted local partner who knows the language, the law and the courts. You sign one agreement and follow every case on one platform.

Matched to your case

We match each claim to a licensed agency or law firm in the buyer's country, based on the type of debtor, the claim and how partners perform on our platform.

One contract, every market

The Standard Debt Collection Agreement covers every country we serve, with the same No Cure, No Pay terms for one claim or a hundred.

Every step in view

Follow each case on one platform and talk directly to the collector working it. Legal action is quoted separately and only starts if you accept.

How it works

From overdue invoice to money in your account

  1. Submit the invoice

Upload it in two minutes, from a spreadsheet or from your accounting software. You see the fee before you confirm.

  2. A local expert takes over

We match the claim to a licensed partner in your buyer's country. You talk to them directly in the case chat.

  3. You get paid

You get paid what is recovered, minus the partner's share. Court action only starts if you accept a quote.

What it costs

No Cure, No Pay, with the fee shown before you submit

No setup fee, no subscription and no retainer. If money is recovered, the success fee depends on where your buyer is and the size of the claim. One contract shared by every business on Debitura means terms you would struggle to negotiate alone.

FAQ

Debt collection for manufacturers, wholesalers and webshops

A Debitura é uma empresa de cobrança de dívidas?

No. Debitura is a debt collection platform. We match your case to a licensed local collection agency or law firm in your debtor's country, which does the collection under local law. We provide the agreement, the platform and the quality checks.

Do I have to pay anything upfront?

No. There is no setup fee, subscription or retainer. You pay a success fee only on money that is recovered. Legal action is quoted separately and only starts if you accept the quote.

Do we need credit insurance to use Debitura?

No. Debitura is open to any business with an unpaid invoice. You do not need a policy, a setup or a minimum volume.

Can you collect from consumers who ordered online?

Yes. We collect from businesses and consumers. Some markets set a higher minimum claim for consumer cases, shown when you submit.

What if the buyer says the goods were faulty?

Disputed claims get a quote from the partner first, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.

Can we stay in control of the customer relationship?

Yes. You decide whether to escalate, you approve payment plans over 12 months and discounts over 20%, and you can see every action the partner logs.

What does it cost?

From 6% in Europe and 7.5% elsewhere, depending on claim size and the debtor's country. See the full fee schedule.
