Your customers live somewhere else

Guests, renters and charter customers come from another country by definition. When a charge is left unpaid, they are already home.

Damage and fuel after return

Damage, missing fuel, cleaning or late-return fees found after the customer has left.

Tolls and admin fees

Toll charges and handling fees that arrive weeks after the rental ended.

Unpaid stays and bookings

No-shows, chargebacks and unpaid stays at hotels and resorts.

Charter and tour customers

Unpaid balances for private flights, charters and tours, from businesses and individuals.

How Debitura helps

A local partner where your guest lives

We match each claim to a licensed agency or law firm in the customer's country, who contacts them in their own language under local rules.

Matched to your case

Consumer and business claims go to a vetted partner in the debtor's country, chosen for the type of claim and how partners perform on our platform.

Built for volume

Upload many claims at once by CSV, or send them from your own systems through the REST API.

One contract, every country

You sign the Standard Debt Collection Agreement once. The same No Cure, No Pay terms apply in every country.

What we collect

Civil claims, not fines

Fines on rented vehicles can only be enforced by the authorities. We collect the civil claims around them: damage, fuel, tolls and fees.

  • We collect: damage, fuel, tolls, cleaning and late fees, unpaid stays, bookings and balances.
  • We don't collect: traffic and parking fines themselves, which only the authorities can enforce.
  • Not sure? Disputed or unusual claims get a quote from the partner first.
How it works

From overdue invoice to money in your account

  1. Submit the claims

One by one, by CSV or through the API. Attach the rental agreement, booking or damage report. You see the fee before you confirm.

  2. A local expert takes over

We match each claim to a licensed partner in the customer's country. You talk to them directly in the case chat.

  3. You get paid

You get paid what is recovered, minus the partner's share. Court action only starts if you accept a quote.

FAQ

Debt collection for travel, hospitality and rental

A Debitura é uma empresa de cobrança de dívidas?

No. Debitura is a debt collection platform. We match your case to a licensed local collection agency or law firm in your debtor's country, which does the collection under local law. We provide the agreement, the platform and the quality checks.

Do I have to pay anything upfront?

No. There is no setup fee, subscription or retainer. You pay a success fee only on money that is recovered. Legal action is quoted separately and only starts if you accept the quote.

Can you collect traffic or parking fines?

No. Fines can only be enforced by the authorities. We collect the civil claims: damage, fuel, tolls, fees and unpaid stays.

Do you collect from consumers?

Yes. Most claims in travel and rental are against consumers, and partners work them under the consumer rules in the debtor's country.

Is it worth it for small claims?

You see the fee and the minimum claim for each market before you submit, so you can decide claim by claim.

Can we send claims from our booking or rental system?

Yes. Export a CSV or connect through the REST API. Each claim becomes a case with the debtor's details filled in.

What does it cost?

From 6% in Europe and 7.5% elsewhere, depending on claim size and the debtor's country. See the full fee schedule.
