Connect any MCP-compatible AI assistant - Claude, Cursor, or VS Code Copilot - to Debitura. Check cases, preview pricing, and submit new collection cases in plain language, without leaving your AI tool.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and VS Code Copilot use to connect to outside tools and data. Instead of switching to a separate app, you give your assistant a secure connection and it can act on your behalf.
The Debitura MCP server is a hosted connector that gives any MCP-compatible AI assistant direct access to your Debitura account through the Customer API. Once connected, you can manage your cross-border collection portfolio in plain language - checking case status, reading partner conversations, pulling payments, previewing pricing, and submitting new collection cases - without opening the web app or writing a line of code.
It is built for creditors who want to manage collections from an AI assistant, and for teams building agentic workflows that automate parts of the collections process.
Connecting takes a few minutes. Generate a Debitura API key at app.debitura.com/CreditorApiKey, then add Debitura as a custom MCP connector in your AI client using the endpoint https://mcp.debitura.com/mcp with your key in the XApiKey header. Verify the connection by asking your assistant to "Ping Debitura" - it replies with your company name when the link is live.
The server is a thin, stateless layer on top of Debitura's Customer API. Your API key is passed through on every request and is the boundary for everything the assistant can see or do - the server stores nothing and scopes each request to the single account that owns the key.
For a step-by-step setup guide, see our MCP server connection guide in the Debitura Help Center, or browse the open-source code on GitHub.
