We provide complex legal services for administration of debts and debt collection in the Czech Republic. We can provide the same level of services through our partners arround Europe. We offer legal representation since pre-trial stage of the debt collection. We start with a due dillgence of the debtor to ascertain the existence of another debts or ongoing collection proceedings so we can provide the client with information which are helpful to decide if to carry on with the court / arbitral proceedings on the merits. We provide legal representation of the client during the whole proceedings on merits. Finally we do cooperate with a network of our partner bailiffs during the enforcement proceedings. In case the debtor shall become bankrupt, we represent the client during the insolvency proceedings. We assist with recognition and enforcement of a foreign court decision (be it intra or extra EU) or arbitral awards.
For debt collection we provide services primarily according to local Directive on Attorney´s Tariff which is used by the courts when deciding about the costs of the proceedings. The logic behind this is that if the collection shall be successful, the costs shall be settled by the debtor. Depending on the complexity of the case we add a success fee up to 10%.
