Sage

From your Sage aged debtors list to a local collector

Debitura has no direct Sage integration. You can still move unpaid Sage invoices to collection in a few minutes, with a Zap or a CSV export.
Works with any Sage product that exports
Sage Accounting, Sage 50 or Sage 200: if you can export unpaid invoices to a spreadsheet, you can upload them to Debitura.
A Zap for Sage Accounting
Where your Sage product is on Zapier, use it as the trigger, filter for unpaid invoices past due, and let Debitura Create Case open the case.
One upload, many cases
Copy your aged debtors export into the Debitura CSV template. Each row becomes a case with the debtor's details filled in.
Talk to the collector directly
Every case has a chat with the partner working it. No email chains, no middleman.
Undisputed debts, before court
Debitura's standard service covers undisputed claims before legal action. Legal action is optional and quoted separately.
A local collector, No Cure, No Pay
Each case goes to a licensed collection agency or law firm in the debtor's country, in 180 countries. $0 upfront. You pay a success fee only when money is recovered.

What is Sage, and why do unpaid invoices get stuck there?

Sage makes accounting software for small and midsize businesses, including Sage Accounting, Sage 50 and Sage 200. These products handle invoicing, VAT or sales tax, bank reconciliation and reports such as aged debtors.

Sage shows you who owes money and for how long. It does not pass an unpaid invoice to a collection agency. Credit control teams usually export the aged debtors list, pick the worst accounts and then find an agency, often a different one for each country their customers are in.

How Debitura fits

Debitura does not connect to Sage directly today. Upload a CSV export, or use a Zap where your Sage product is available on Zapier. Each case goes to a licensed local partner and you follow it on one platform.

How to send unpaid Sage invoices to Debitura

Route 1: CSV upload

  1. In Sage, export the unpaid invoices you want to escalate. An aged debtors report or an invoice list export works.
  2. In Debitura, start a new case and choose CSV import. Download the CSV template.
  3. Copy your data into the template. Required columns: invoice number, debtor name, address, postal code, city, country, invoice date, principal amount and currency code. State, email, phone and due date are optional.
  4. Use one date format for the whole file, then upload it. Each row becomes a case.
  5. Review the cases and submit. You see the success fee before you submit.

Route 2: Zapier

  1. In Debitura, create an API key on the API key page.
  2. In Zapier, create a Zap with the Sage app as the trigger. Check that your Sage product is on Zapier and choose its invoice trigger.
  3. Add a Filter step so the Zap only continues when the invoice is unpaid and past its due date.
  4. Add the Debitura Create Case action and connect it with your API key.
  5. Map currency code (such as USD or GBP), invoice date, amount to recover, debtor name, email and full address with the two-letter country code. Add the due date and your invoice number as reference.
  6. Test the Zap. The case appears in Debitura with the status Pending Verification. Then publish.

Sage debt collection: frequently asked questions

Does Debitura integrate directly with Sage?

No. There is no direct Sage integration today. Use a CSV upload or the Debitura Zapier integration.

Which invoices can I send?

Undisputed unpaid invoices and loan repayments owed by your business customers, in any of the 180 countries we cover. Disputed claims and legal action are quoted separately and only start if you accept the quote.

Do I pay anything upfront?

No. There is no setup fee or subscription and you pay $0 upfront. You pay a success fee only when money is recovered: from 6% in Europe and 7.5% elsewhere, depending on claim size and the debtor's country. The fee is shown before you submit. See pricing.

Should I write off the debt in Sage first?

No. Keep the invoice open while the case runs so your ledger shows what is still owed. Decide on a write-off with your accountant when the case is closed.
